10 Americans Killed in Buffalo

Today I want to the grocery store and I was nervous. I’m never nervous when I go food shopping. Today was different because of the domestic terrorist that killed 10 Americans in Buffalo, New York.

Just as a gunman walked into that grocery store, another hater of American people could have walked into the store I was in and started shooting random people for reasons which only they were aware.

Because the Americans killed were a homogenous group, the narrative that this is a racist act is out there and spreading like wildfire.

I, on the other hand, am not giving the perpetrator of this crime a pass by calling him, or what he did, “racist”.

The label “racist” will likely do exactly what it’s done in the recent past:

give him an adoring fan base,

a possible book deal with a large publishing company, and

depending on who wins the next Presidential election, potentially set him up for a promising political future.

See news report here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2Mgj_-hhjY

This was an allegedly planned and deliberate act of hate carried out on a specific group of Americans by another American (at least I assume he is an American).

I may write more about this but I’m currently practicing coding and I need to get a couple hours in before bedtime.

I invite you to share your thoughts.
